Navigating stability testing challenges

I’ve been working on a new hydrating serum for a few months, and I’ve hit a wall with the stability testing. It’s been hard to find a balance between effective ingredient concentrations and product integrity over time. Has anyone faced similar challenges, and how did you address them? Have you thought about running small test batches at varying concentrations? I’ve found that sometimes backing off slightly on some active ingredients can help with stability while still keeping effectiveness. @veronica_chem92 might have some insights on that too.

Finding the right balance can feel like walking a tightrope. I’ve had some success by slightly adjusting the emulsifiers; it surprisingly made a noticeable difference in overall stability. Have you tried experimenting with those yet, @alison_moore23?
